Qualifications

• Genuine, hands-on experience in healthcare settings is required.
• Experience with medical insurance processes including submissions and follow-ups.
• Experience with patient intake and medical documentation (charts, letters, records).
• Comfort with daily data entry in an EHR system.
• Professional written and verbal communication for direct patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Patient Intake: gather patient data and set up new charts; schedule initial appointments; develop standardized intake processes.
• Insurance & Claims Management: process prior authorizations; submit and manage claims; follow up on denials with insurers.
• Documentation & Records: draft diagnosis letters, ESA letters, and work‑excuse letters; maintain accurate records in EHR.
• Process & SOP Development: help create and maintain internal policies and SOPs; support onboarding of intake processes.
• Patient & Practice Support: communicate with patients empathetically; coordinate with practice owner via messaging and video calls.
