Job summary

Bonterra is seeking a Growth Manager to own activation-focused growth in a high-velocity PLG setup. You will optimize self-serve conversions and build a scalable pipeline by drafting and deploying lifecycle experiments across email and in-product messaging.

You will write your own copy, validate ideas with data, and partner with Product and UX to ensure wins are prioritized and integrated into the roadmap, empowering nonprofits to grow with our tools.

• Hands-on: write and launch your own lifecycle copy and experiments.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle-driven growth across the Activation suite, focusing on new customer self-serve conversions and customer base pipeline generation.
• Design and run high-velocity lifecycle experiments across email and in-product messaging to drive activation.
• Personally write, launch, and iterate lifecycle copy for emails, in-product messages, and CTAs tied to your experiments.
• Optimize messaging for clarity and conversion, leveraging product marketing positioning to connect in-app friction with self-serve upgrades or downstream sales conversations.
• Immerse yourself in the workflows of the primary persona - the small nonprofit leader - ensuring PLG motion is grounded in their daily realities.
• Treat every lifecycle touchpoint as a conversion lever, using data to quickly kill losers, double down on winners, and scale successful patterns into systems.
• Act as a cross-functional salesperson: interface with UX leadership and Product Managers to present findings with skill and persuasion.
• Rally support for wins by proving experiments are scalable and worth the Product team's roadmap.
