Job summary

Nuvho Hotel Services & Management Company is seeking a part-time Group Bookkeeper to support our remote finance team from the Philippines. The role covers payroll, AR/AP, statutory returns across the Philippines, Australia, the UK and Ireland.

You will manage invoices, reconciliations, and multi-currency accounting in Xero, with Rippling and Airwallex, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. This fully remote position offers flexible days (2–3 per week) and potential progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll administration.
• Experience supporting financial operations across multiple entities, currencies or jurisdictions is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Xero is essential, including transaction processing, account coding, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Experience with Rippling, Airwallex or similar payroll, payment and expense management systems is highly regarded.
• Understanding of payroll, tax and financial reporting requirements across Australia, the UK, Ireland or other international jurisdictions is an advantage.
• Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Confident communicator who can work collaboratively with management, employees, external accountants and suppliers.
• A proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in improving processes, introducing efficiencies and reducing manual administration.
• Adaptable and collaborative, with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll across multiple jurisdictions and ensure timely payments.
• Process supplier/customer invoices, credit notes, payments and receipts.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Allocate transactions to correct entities and cost centres.
• Maintain financial records and coordinate with accountants and payroll providers.
