Job summary

Core-VA Solutions, a Texas-based healthcare staffing company, seeks a Finance & Operations Specialist to support finance, HR, and operations. You’ll manage QuickBooks Online, HR processes, and project workflows while coordinating with leadership.

You’ll improve systems, implement automation, and help keep financials accurate. The role is 100% remote with flexible, long-term growth potential.

Qualifications

2+ years in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, HR, or operations.
Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills with reporting.
Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end close, budgeting.
Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, HR admin.
Excellent project coordination and follow-up abilities.
Ability to identify process gaps and build SOPs and workflows.

Responsibilities

Manage QuickBooks Online across entities: AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, month-end close.
Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variances and reports.
Support budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning.
Monitor deadlines, vendors, contracts, and KPIs.
Provide leadership with accurate financial information.
Support recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and HR admin as needed.
Maintain confidential HR files and policy updates.
Coordinate projects, calendars, actions, and stakeholder follow-ups.
Develop better workflows, SOPs, dashboards, and automations.
Utilize Microsoft 365, Excel, Power Automate, Asana, QuickBooks, SharePoint, Teams.
