Core-VA Solutions is a Texas-based healthcare staffing company now seeking a Finance & Operations Specialist who can confidently work across finance, HR, operations, and executive support. The role focuses on keeping financials accurate, supporting people processes, coordinating projects, and improving workflows while working remotely.

You’ll manage QuickBooks Online, assist with budgets and forecasts, support HR administration, and drive process improvements using tools like Microsoft 365,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, HR, or operations.
• Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills with reporting experience.
• Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and HR administration.
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage QuickBooks Online records across multiple entities including AP/AR and invoicing.
• Prepare financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variances.
• Support budgets, forecasts, cash flow planning, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Monitor deadlines, vendors, contracts, documentation, and KPIs.
• Provide leadership with accurate, timely financial information.
• Support recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, benefits, and HR administration as needed.
• Maintain confidential HR files and compliance documentation.
• Assist leadership with HR reporting and process improvements.
• Coordinate projects, deadlines, calendars, and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Identify inefficient processes and develop SOPs, workflows, dashboards, and automations.
