Job summary

Living in a Bubble is seeking a finance leader to own the close, tax control, reporting and analysis for a multi-entity ecommerce business with operations in Australia, the United States, Canada, Germany and the Philippines. You’ll inherit real processes, fix gaps, implement SOPs, and build a scalable finance function.

The CEO retains final call on pricing, payments and structure while you provide governance and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA qualified with Big 4 audit/advisory background or equivalent depth in industry.
• Experience consolidating multi-entity, multi-currency reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close calendar, quality, and data reconciliation across two entities.
• Oversee indirect tax filings across five regimes with external firms and maintain a solid control framework.
• Lead management reporting: daily/weekly/monthly P&L, KPI scorecard, and channel performance analysis.
• Own pricing and landed-cost analysis, including margin verification after price changes.
• Maintain cost rolls and verify landed costs in systems to protect forward margin.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and access maps for continuity and audit-readiness.
