Job summary

Pro Coffee Gear is a rapidly growing ecommerce company seeking a strategic Controller to join the leadership team in a remote, global capacity. The successful candidate will drive financial strategy and deliver executive-level insights across the business.

You will manage AP/AR/payroll, close processes, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis; oversee ERP integration and internal controls; interact with external auditors and regulators; mentor the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA certification strongly preferred; MBA preferred.
• 7–10 years in accounting/finance; 3–5 years in controller role.
• Experience in ecommerce/retail/inventory-based businesses preferred.
• Public accounting with Big 4 or mid-tier is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP, AR, and Payroll management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations.
• Develop robust financial controls, policies, and procedures for compliance.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to executive leadership.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis and metrics.
• Develop financial models for initiatives and product launches.
• Conduct profitability analysis by product line, customer segment, and business unit.
• Ensure seamless integration of inventory management, ecommerce platforms, and payment systems with GL.
• Lead ERP optimization and financial system implementations; drive process improvements.
• Establish KPIs and financial dashboards; manage relations with auditors and regulators.
