This remote role requires strong technical depth across backend/frontend/APIs, with a focus on reliability, speed, and customer outcomes. You will mentor engineers and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production systems experience.
• Experience leading or managing software engineers and delivering engineering outcomes.
• Deep understanding of backend, frontend, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team across frontend, backend and full-stack domains.
• Own delivery for major product areas, ensuring fast shipping with reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with product, design and AI teams to translate product problems into concrete technical plans.
• Drive architecture decisions spanning APIs, databases, integrations, and production systems.
• Set and uphold engineering standards for code quality, testing, observability and security.
