BJAK is seeking experienced backend engineers to build the core systems behind its AI Neobank app. You will design reliable APIs and scalable backend infrastructure that serves onboarding, accounts, payments, and risk flows across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services used by real customers at scale.
• Strong focus on reliability, security and data quality.
• Ability to trade off speed, correctness, scalability and maintainability.
• Experience with fintech domains (payments, KYC, fraud) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services and APIs for onboarding, accounts and payments.
• Design reliable systems for real customer transactions and workflows.
• Integrate with internal systems, partners, payment providers and AI services.
• Maintain backend quality across reliability, latency and security.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, mobile and AI teams to ship features quickly.
• Simplify flows and automate repeatable processes to improve systems.
