Job summary

Tranex Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator based in the Philippines for a permanent remote role. You will prepare electrical BOQ and estimates for solar farm and BESS projects, coordinating with Australian teams on design, procurement and delivery across civil and mechanical interfaces.

The ideal candidate holds an Electrical Engineering degree or related diploma, with at least five years of electrical estimating experience, and strong Excel plus CostX/Planswift skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least five years of electrical estimating or quantity surveying experience.
• Experience estimating utility-scale solar, BESS, substations or major electrical works.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings and scope documents.
• Excellent English communication and document control.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed electrical quantity take-offs for solar and BESS projects.
• Estimate electrical Balance of Plant works including cabling, trenching and switchgear.
• Develop cost plans, bills of quantities and tender workbooks.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Australian teams and support post-tender clarifications.
