Job summary

D2B is seeking a highly analytical Credit Analyst to own the credit assessment and deal structuring lifecycle for Australian mortgage broking. You’ll work closely with the Principal Broker and Loan Processor to move files from initial analysis to formal approval and settlement.

The role requires deep expertise in complex lending scenarios, strict compliance, and hands-on use of Connective Mercury and Quickli. This is a remote, dayshift position aligned to Melbourne time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3+ years of proven experience as a Credit Analyst or Senior Loan Writer supporting an Australian residential mortgage broking operation.
• Deep knowledge of Australian credit policies (NCCP) and servicing methodologies across major banks and lenders.
• Proficiency in evaluating complex income structures (PAYG, self-employed, trusts, SMSFs) and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of credit assessment and deal structuring from client interview through approval and settlement.
• Perform end-to-end borrowing capacity calculations using Quickli and lender calculators.
• Draft comprehensive broker notes and credit narratives addressing risk factors.
• Liaise with lender assessors, coaches, and BDMs to resolve conditions and accelerate MIRs.
• Oversee and quality-check inputs from the Loan Processor into AOL and Mercury CRM.
