Job summary

STAFFHERO is seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator/Admin to join our team supporting Australian operations. This permanent remote role requires strong ability to read plans, perform M2-rate estimates, and build construction programs while coordinating with clients and trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in construction.
• Minimum 3 years of estimator/admin experience in Australian construction.
• Strong ability to read construction plans and interpret drawings.
• Experience estimating with M2 rates and drawing up construction programs.
• Proficient in Excel and basic accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans to produce cost estimates.
• Estimate project costs using M2 rates when provided.
• Draw up construction programs with trade dates and handover schedules.
• Coordinate and run projects with clients to confirm scope.
• Maintain estimating records in Excel and accounting systems.
• Track timelines and flag scheduling risks.
• Respond to client and trade queries about estimates.
• Identify discrepancies between plans and site requirements.
