Job summary

MissionHires is seeking an experienced Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to lead the estimating and preconstruction process for commercial fitout projects. This role involves managing takeoffs, tendering, subcontractor engagement, and RFIs while ensuring accurate and compliant proposals.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineer degree and proven experience in construction or fitout. Working remotely, you will have the flexibility to support operations based in Inner Sydney.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator or Preconstruction Manager within construction or fitout.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, RFIs, and end-to-end tendering processes.
• Excellent subcontractor and supplier relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full estimating and preconstruction process for commercial projects.
• Manage takeoffs, tendering, subcontractor engagement, and RFIs.
• Identify cost savings, mitigate risks, and prepare projects for delivery.
