Job summary

MultiplyMii is hiring a Structural Concrete Estimator to support pre-construction pricing for Australian projects. The role is remote from the Philippines, part-time 2-3 days per week with potential to scale as workload grows.

You will review drawings, prepare take-offs, develop cost estimates, and raise RFIs when needed. Proficiency in Excel and take-off tools like Bluebeam is preferred; prior Australian project exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural concrete estimating, reinforcement estimating, quantity surveying, or related construction estimating role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Understanding of reinforcement, concrete quantities, construction methods, labor requirements, and project costs.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with digital estimating/take-off tools such as Bluebeam or similar software.
• Ability to identify gaps or inconsistencies in drawings and project documentation and raise RFIs.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and commercial considerations.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review structural, architectural, and engineering drawings to understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for structural concrete, reinforcement, formwork, and related scopes.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for commercial and industrial projects.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential risks in project documentation and raise RFIs where required.
• Research and assess material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive and accurate estimates.
• Apply appropriate quantities, rates, productivity assumptions, and allowances when preparing estimates.
• Assist with initial project planning, including expected work sequences, resource requirements, and baseline timelines.
• Work with internal operations and project stakeholders to ensure estimates can be effectively transitioned into project execution.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and update pricing information as required.
• Support budgeting and cost planning throughout the project lifecycle.
