Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. seeks a Construction Cost Controller for a permanent, work-from-home role overseeing labor and material costs on company and third-party projects. You will monitor payroll, approve invoices, reconcile costs against budgets, and catch overruns early.

Reporting to the DCM with FP&A involvement, this position requires 2+ years in construction cost accounting and strong Excel/ERP skills to support weekly and monthly cost reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction cost accounting, accounts payable, or job costing.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager Job Cost or equivalent construction ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivots and variance analysis.
• Experience auditing labor hours or payroll data against budgets.
• Detail-oriented with ability to flag discrepancies to leadership.
• Capable of meeting weekly/monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Audit weekly job cost payroll and clock-in data by job code against budgets; flag overages with DCM and CM.
• Track labor and material cost trends across active jobs in project trackers; escalate cost creep.
• Reconcile third-party contractor invoices against contracted rates, scope, and payment schedules.
• Maintain Booked and In-Progress Labor & Material Cost fields in Smartsheet and Yardi.
• Partner with the DCM on weekly cost exposure reviews for all active jobs.
• Support Change Order and Contract Review, confirming costs align with approved amounts.
• Prepare monthly job cost variance reports for FP&A and Asset Management.
• Provide data for Replacement Reserve draws and Schedule I submissions.
