Job summary

Remark Steel in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to monitor and record all project revenues and costs, ensuring budgets are met and payments are processed promptly. You will prepare progress billings, validate documents for client invoicing, and monitor subcontractor billings in line with contract terms.

You will also generate weekly and monthly financial reports, track assets and inventory costs, and coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and site teams to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in project cost accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (SAP, QuickBooks).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination with project teams and head office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record all project revenues, expenses, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate project cost records and ensure timely processing of payments, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.
• Track project costs against approved budgets and identify variances or overruns.
• Assist project managers in monitoring financial performance and cost control measures.
• Prepare progress billings and validate documents for client invoicing.
• Monitor subcontractor billings and verify contract compliance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports including cash flow forecasts and budget updates.
• Maintain records of project assets, machinery, equipment, and operating costs.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and site teams for accurate reporting.
• Ensure complete and organized financial documentation for audits and compliance.
• Support audits by providing accurate financial records and reports.
