Moritz, a global law firm leveraging AI-enabled commercial legal infra­structure, seeks a co-counsel in the Philippines for dispute resolution work. You will lead case strategy, pleadings, evidence, and procedural steps for clients ranging from startups to enterprises.

The role includes drafting prior-action letters, settlement agreements, and representing clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings where licensed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practising commercial litigation or arbitration.
• Experience in contract disputes, damages, and injunctive relief.
• Ability to manage proceedings end-to-end with audience rights or arbitration experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead case strategy, pleadings, evidence, and procedural steps for Philippine disputes.
• Draft and negotiate letters before action, settlements, and tolling arrangements; represent clients in mediation/arbitration/court where licensed.
• Advise clients on litigation risk, contract audits, escalation strategy, and dispute resolution clauses.
• Handle pleadings and witness statements and ensure terms are robust for settlements.
• Work with Moritz on project-based or retainer engagements as co-counsel.
