Job summary

Moritz is seeking a senior commercial/procurement lawyer in the Philippines to serve as co-counsel on high-volume contract work. You will draft, review, and negotiate agreements across services, supply, distribution, and licensing, with exposure to public procurement matters.

You will advise, structure, and negotiate SLAs, pricing, liability, warranties, and termination provisions for clients ranging from startups to enterprises. Remote engagement options apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practising commercial or procurement law in private practice or in-house.
• Experience with commercial contracting — services, supply, distribution, licensing, liability, indemnities, and termination.
• Public procurement grounding; experience with tender processes/regulation (EU/local equivalents).
• Strong negotiation instincts; able to move deals forward.
• Commercial fluency; understand pricing and business context.

Responsibilities

• Serve as co-counsel for Moritz's commercial and procurement work in the Philippines, including MSAs, supply/distribution, framework, partnership, and public procurement matters.
• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts for clients from startups to enterprises, on buy and sell sides.
• Advise clients on public procurement: tender prep/review, bid compliance, framework agreements, remedies, and contract awards.
• Draft and negotiate SLAs, pricing, payment schedules, liability/indemnity, warranties, and termination provisions.
• Commit to SLA timelines (e.g., 24-hour turnaround) when agreed.
