OurAssistants is seeking an experienced Accountant with expertise in property management accounting. The ideal candidate holds a U.S. CMA and has 3+ years of senior‑level U.S. real estate accounting experience, including direct client work.

This remote role covers financial statement prep, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance, plus collaboration with property owners, managers, and auditors to ensure accurate financial management and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• U.S. CMA preferred.
• 3+ years of U.S. accounting experience (must-have).
• Senior-level experience in property management accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations for property management portfolios.
• Prepare and review financial statements, monthly reports, and variance analyses.
• Handle bank, tenant ledger, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure full U.S. GAAP and property management accounting standards compliance.
• Communicate with clients, providing financial updates and inquiries.
• Collaborate with property managers, owners, and external auditors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
