Job summary

Outsourced in the Philippines is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to take ownership of existing customer relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities. This dual‑focus role combines account management and new business development, with you as the main contact for a portfolio of accounts and a driving force behind expanding Outsourced's customer base.

You will work from home on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a business development, account management, or sales role
• Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue/growth targets
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to clients at all levels
• Self‑starter who can manage a varied workload across retention and acquisition activity

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of existing accounts, acting as the primary relationship contact
• Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to understand evolving customer needs
• Identify and convert upsell/cross-sell opportunities within the existing base
• Monitor account health, resolve issues proactively
• Track customer satisfaction and act as an internal advocate for customer needs
• Research and identify prospective customers
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads
• Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline and forecasts
• Report regularly on performance against targets (retention, growth, new business revenue)
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer industry developments
