Job summary

Kajae Inc is seeking a Bookkeeping & AI Automation Specialist to oversee bookkeeping across 40–50 franchise locations while developing AI-powered solutions to streamline financial workflows. The role demands hands-on QuickBooks expertise and practical experience using Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex.

You will demonstrate AI automation projects during interviews and contribute to scalable, automated financial processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and managing financial records, reconciliations, and bookkeeping workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee bookkeeping activities across multiple locations or accounts.
• Deep practical experience using Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex to build automations, applications, or technical solutions.
• Proven track record of independently developing and implementing AI-powered workflows.
• Ability to demonstrate personally built AI automation projects, applications, or workflows during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping across approximately 40–50 franchise locations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and standard bookkeeping practices using QuickBooks.
• Review transactions, reconciliations, balances, and records for accuracy.
• Monitor processes across locations and identify discrepancies or issues.
• Support month-end bookkeeping activities and financial reporting.
• Establish standardized procedures and improve data consistency across the network.
• Identify repetitive tasks and develop AI-powered automation solutions.
• Design, build, test, and implement automated workflows with Claude Code/OpenAI Codex.
• Develop AI-powered applications, scripts, and tools to improve efficiency.
• Explore integrations of AI tools with QuickBooks and other systems.
• Troubleshoot workflows and improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive operational improvements through AI.
• Document automation processes and maintain organized workflows.
