Hire Kaya LLC. is seeking an Accounting & Automation Specialist to modernize manual accounting processes for a US-based manufacturing company. This is the first remote hire and you’ll shape how remote work is organized from day one, starting with cash applications in Sage X3.

You will combine hands-on clerical work with automation, documenting processes and exploring AI-assisted tools to streamline AR, invoicing, and related tasks as the function expands.

Qualifications

• Accounting background strong enough to understand and improve accounting processes, not just execute them.
• Experience with a complex, enterprise-tier ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or a high-end Sage product).
• Comfortable doing hands-on clerical and administrative accounting work yourself, not only designing improvements for others.
• Genuine interest in and aptitude for automation and process improvement.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable raising ideas and questions proactively.

Responsabilités

• Handle cash applications by matching incoming payments to invoices in Sage X3.
• Learn reporting structures to run key reports (e.g., AR aging) and interpret them.
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline manual tasks and document processes.
• Collaborate with the accounting lead daily to align on priorities and blockers.
• As the function grows, support invoicing improvements and additional payment options.
