Job summary

OptiNizers, a boutique model management and talent business, seeks a highly organized Remote Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, payment tracking, payroll support, and invoice management.

You will work with QuickBooks Online on high-volume, variable transactions, learn the company’s unique processes, and communicate clearly when following up on payments or resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Solid understanding of accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Experience tracking invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Clear communication with clients, vendors, and talent regarding financial matters.
• Able to work independently with strong follow-through and accuracy.
• Comfortable learning a specialized business model and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online.
• Record, categorize, and reconcile bank transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Process and track incoming payments and direct deposits.
• Monitor invoices, expenses, commissions, and payments.
• Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping and 1099 support.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies.
