Job summary

DCX PH Inc. is seeking a Home-Based Bookkeeper to join a growing U.S.-based consulting company in the industrialized construction industry.

You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a project-based services business using QuickBooks Online on an accrual basis, approve and assign expenses to projects, create and send client invoices, and follow up on past-due accounts. You will maintain accurate time and expense entries, monitor the A/R aging report, run Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and project

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably supporting U.S.-based clients and project-based or professional services businesses.
• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.
• Technical Skills: QuickBooks Online (required), accrual-basis accounting, invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, and job costing; Excel, Google Workspace; QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving submitted expenses in QuickBooks Online
• Assigning expenses to projects for accurate job costing
• Flagging missing receipts, duplicate entries, or questionable charges
• Creating accurate client invoices based on project work, time, and billable expenses
• Submitting invoices to clients on schedule and in line with project terms
• Maintaining organized records of all invoices issued
• Monitoring the A/R aging report and identifying past-due invoices
• Following up with clients on outstanding balances
• Recording payments received and updating invoice status
• Maintaining and reviewing time and expense entries to ensure they are complete and accurate
• Reconciliation against projects to support accurate billing
• Running financial reports such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, A/R Aging, and Project Profitability
• Ensuring accrual accounting rules are followed year-round
• Supporting month-end close and providing clean data to leadership
