Job summary

D2B, a New Zealand–based supplier of automotive parts, is seeking an Accounting & Inventory Assistant. This 100% remote, contractor role supports daily bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and stock data updates for a fast-paced operation serving workshops.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, comfortable with learning new systems, and able to work independently; prior bookkeeping or VA experience is preferred, with NZ business hours alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration, or virtual assistant roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable learning new tools and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing: manage incoming invoices via email and record them accurately.
• Payments management: process supplier payments and track transactions.
• Bank reconciliation: reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Inventory system support: assist with data entry and stock tracking.
