Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or financial operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
• Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills to build models.
• Experience building or maintaining financial models: forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Active daily user of AI tools and ability to explain usage in workflow.
• Strong reconciliation, AR/AP, and month-end close understanding.

Responsibilities

• Record, categorize, and reconcile daily transactions across bank and credit card accounts.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, invoicing in QuickBooks and Xero, tracking payment status, and follow ups on overdue accounts.
• Maintain audit-ready books and organized digital filing.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close; deliver reconciled books by the 5th of each month.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, cash flow, margin snapshots) and support external accountants at year-end.
• Build financial models from scratch and update existing ones as client financials evolve.
• Translate raw financial data into insights for leadership and client presentations.
