Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organized Filipino bookkeeper to manage day-to-day Australian client bookkeeping from a remote Philippines-based setup. You will work directly with the client as an independent contractor, aligning work hours with AU business times while retaining contractor flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Australian bookkeeping.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero.
• GST knowledge and BAS experience.
• Payroll processing and superannuation familiarity.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients using Xero & MYOB.
• Prepare financial reports: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
• Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support payroll processing and BAS lodgement where applicable.
• Collaborate with accountants and respond to client queries.
