Hunt St Pty Ltd, a progressive Australian accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Philippines-based Accountant to support Australian clients. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting, joining a remote-first team that values autonomy and client-focus.

This Independent Contractor role aligns with AU business hours (roughly 9–5) but offers flexible time management. CPA qualification or progress preferred; 3+ years of Australian client experience and strong Xero

Qualifications

• CPA qualification or actively pursuing CPA.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting Australian accounting clients.
• Strong hands-on experience with Xero and cloud accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage client bill payments and accounts administration.
• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Perform Xero reconciliations across multiple client accounts.
• Assist with month-end reporting and management accounting.
• Work directly with key clients to assist with procurement / supply chain processes
• Assist with financial modelling in Excel, management reports, and spreadsheet-based analysis.
• Support bookkeeping, BAS preparation, and general accounting functions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client deadlines and deliverables.
