Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a highly organized Australian Bookkeeper for day-to-day client work. You’ll be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor, with 100% remote setup and alignment to AU business hours (9am–5pm AEST).

You’ll manage bookkeeping across multiple Australian clients using Xero and MYOB, perform reconciliations, payroll support, and deliver regular financial reports while ensuring compliance with GST, BAS and payroll rules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Australian bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of GST and BAS.
• Experience with bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple Australian clients using Xero & MYOB.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
• Provide payroll processing support and ensure compliance with Australian requirements.
• Prepare regular financial reports including P&L, balance sheets, and cashflow.
• Support BAS preparation and lodgement where applicable.
