Job summary

Doneverse is seeking a meticulous Client Experience Support – Billing Team Member to join our remote-first team. You’ll handle invoices, payments, and account updates across live chat, email, and phone while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in billing or AR, strong numerical skills, and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to improve billing processes and meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounts administration, customer support, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with invoices, payments, outstanding balances, refunds, credits, or account adjustments.
• Experience using CRM, billing, payment processing, or ticketing systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence discussing payment requirements, outstanding balances, and billing concerns with clients.
• Strong problem-solving and discrepancy-investigation skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and platforms.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling financial and client information.

Responsibilities

• Respond to billing and account inquiries through live chat, email, and phone.
• Process payments and manage invoices, account updates, billing records, and related administrative tasks.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Assist with payment plans, credits, refunds, billing adjustments, and account reactivations.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and payment concerns, resolving issues or escalating them when needed.
• Keep clients informed throughout the resolution process.
• Identify recurring billing issues and payment risks before they become bigger problems.
• Work with internal teams to improve billing processes and reduce recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client and financial records while following established processes and SLAs.
