Job summary

JotPsych is hiring two to three Medical Billers to own billing and credentialing end-to-end for a dedicated set of provider customers. You will submit clean claims, manage denials, enroll providers with payers, and support credentialing across CAQH ProView and payer portals.

This fully remote role supports Latin America or the Philippines, with 30–40 hours per week and a monthly USD compensation of $2,000 to $3,500, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of US medical billing and/or credentialing experience.
• 2+ years with behavioral health and psychiatry practices.
• Hands-on with US payer portals (e.g., Availity, CAQH ProView, PECOS).
• Strong working knowledge of psychiatric CPT codes (e.g., 90791/90792, 99212–99215, 90832/90834/90837).
• Ability to manage 60–90+ concurrent credentialing tracks.
• 4+ hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Submit clean, accurate claims for behavioral health and psychiatry practices.
• Manage the full claim lifecycle from charge entry to final payment.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to submission.
• Work denials end-to-end: research root causes, write appeals, follow up to resolution.
