Job summary

MedVirtual is seeking a skilled Medical Biller to oversee the complete billing cycle for healthcare practices. You will manage end-to-end RCM, handle A/R collections, investigate denials, and resubmit claims with accuracy to maximize revenue while complying with HIPAA.

The role is permanently remote with a USD starting rate, internet allowance, and benefits including HMO, retirement fund, and paid US holidays, vacations, and sick leave.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in medical billing with exposure to RCM and A/R processes.
• Experience with claim denial management and collections processes.
• Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in virtual office tools, EHR systems, and communication platforms.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): Oversee the entire billing cycle from claims submission to final reimbursement.
• Accounts Receivable (A/R) Collections: Track unpaid bills and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Claims Denial Investigation and Resolution: Investigate denials and resubmit corrected claims.
• Claims Resubmission and Correction: Manage backend tasks for resubmission and corrections.
• Documentation and Compliance: Ensure billing activities comply with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
