Job summary

Hunt St, Pty is seeking a Filipino-based bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of Australian clients. This independent contractor role is 100% remote and aligns with AU business hours, with duties spanning reconciliations, payroll support, and standard financial reporting using Xero and MYOB.

You will work closely with accountants and senior team members to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely client reporting, while maintaining professional communication and reliability

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Australian bookkeeping.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero.
• Solid understanding of Australian bookkeeping practices, including GST, BAS, payroll, superannuation.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Bookkeeping for multiple Australian clients using Xero & MYOB.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across accounts.
• Provide payroll processing and support with Australian requirements.
• Prepare regular financial reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow.
• Support clients and team with documentation and queries.
