Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to support Australian clients as an Independent Contractor. You will manage accounts, payroll, BAS/IAS preparation, and timely reporting using Xero, HubDoc, and DEXT, with Karbon for project communication.

The role aligns with AU business hours but operates as a flexible remote engagement, requiring strong attention to detail and proactive client service. Experience with Australian clients and Xero payroll is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping for Australian clients.
• Xero certification / Xero payroll certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of client work within scope.
• Adhere to agreed timeframes and escalate if blocked.
• Handle BAS/IAS prep and regular reporting.
• Utilise Xero, HubDoc, DEXT and Karbon for workflow and communication.
• Provide feedback on process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
