Job summary

Outsourced Quality Assured Services Inc. (ISO Certified) seeks an experienced accounting professional to support Australian clients from a home-based setup in the Philippines.

You will work with Xero and BGL, handle data processing, reconciliations, and prepare manual journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timely deliverables. You will manage multiple client files, adhere to Australian tax terminology, participate in daily check-ins with Stew via Teams or Zoom, and maintain confidentiality and

Qualifications

• Experience supporting an Australian accounting practice or Australian client portfolio.
• Working knowledge of Australian accounting and tax terminology; proficient with reconciliations.
• Experience with BGL and managing multiple client files with deadlines; pursuing CPA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Account preparation and client data processing.
• Enter and maintain client accounting information, including non-Xero data.
• Prepare manual journal entries with explanations and documentation.
• Complete reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Organise schedules and working papers for Director review.
• Document assumptions and required clarifications.
• Apply practice procedures across client files.
• Support SMSF accounting work using BGL and established procedures.
• Process fund data and supporting records within scope allocated by Director.
• Prepare reconciliations and schedules for review.
• Identify incomplete documentation or unresolved balances and escalate.
• Maintain SMSF files and clear trail of work.
• Coordinate with Director to avoid duplication; scope to be confirmed by Stew.
• Work ownership and review readiness; self-checks before submission.
• Maintain task status and deadlines; separate routine from technical work.
• Incorporate feedback and update procedures as agreed.
• Communicate promptly when deadlines are at risk or blockers occur.
