Boomering is seeking an experienced Australian Accountant to manage trust returns, company financials, and Australian tax accounting from a remote Philippines base. The role covers SMSF processes, audit prep, and close collaboration with Australian clients to ensure high-quality tax and financial reporting.

You'll work with Xero, BGL, MYOB Reporter, and Excel, communicating proactively and meeting deadlines in a client-focused offshore setup.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Australian Accountant.
• Strong experience in trust returns, company financials, and Australian tax accounting.
• Hands-on SMSF experience; able to explain SMSF work personally completed.
• Experience with BGL is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB Reporter, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confident communicating directly with Australian clients.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently, ask questions when clarification is required, and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review trust tax returns, company financials, and individual tax returns.
• Handle SMSF accounting work in accordance with Australian requirements and established processes.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and supporting workpapers.
• Assist with SMSF audit preparation and respond to queries.
• Utilise Xero, BGL, MYOB Reporter, and Microsoft Excel for accounting and reporting.
• Ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting per Australian taxation requirements.
• Review work to identify discrepancies or issues and take ownership of tasks.
• Proactively communicate progress, questions, delays, and potential issues.
• Collaborate with the client and internal team to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
