Outsourced. ph is seeking an AU Accounting Specialist for day shift, work-from-home role. You will prepare accounts, process client data, and support SMSF work using Xero and BGL, servicing Australian clients from the Philippines.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and timely delivery in a remote offshore setup. Candidate should have prior experience with Australian accounting terminology and client portfolios, strong spreadsheet skills, and be able to manage multiple files against

Qualifications

• Experience supporting an Australian accounting practice or Australian client portfolio.
• Working knowledge of Australian accounting and tax terminology with strong spreadsheet skills.
• Experience with BGL and handling multiple client files with deadlines, or pursuing CPA or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Account preparation and client data processing, including entries and reconciliations.
• Support SMSF accounting work using BGL and established procedures.
• Bookkeeping and routine reconciliations; identify issues and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain task status and ensure review-ready submissions to the Director.
• Communicate regularly with Stew via Teams/Zoom; provide concise progress updates.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow data protection guidelines for Australian clients.
