Full Potential Solutions (FPS) is seeking an Assistant Controller to support accounting and financial reporting across its global operations. This role drives accuracy, ensures GAAP/IFRS compliance, and leads accounting staff in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA, and strong technical skills in ERP systems. This remote position offers collaboration with teams in multiple regions and time-zone flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is required.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2–4+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP (or IFRS where applicable).
• Experience with financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics or Workday.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations and monthly closes.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Maintain GAAP/IFRS compliance and audit readiness.
• Coordinate audits and tax compliance activities.
• Supervise accounting staff and mentor the team.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and GL activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes.
