Beyond the Books, a remote accounting services firm, seeks an Accounting and Finance Manager to oversee client engagements for U.S.-based clients. The role emphasizes technical accounting, meticulous review, and process improvements in a structured remote environment.

You will ensure deliverables meet U.S. GAAP standards, manage month-end close, and drive accuracy across client accounts. A CPA and Big 4 experience are preferred, with growth opportunities and a remote-first setup.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA license, active or inactive, required.
• Big 4 public accounting experience required.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including full-cycle accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Mansioni

• Lead client accounting engagements for Beyond the Books and ensure accurate, timely financial support for U.S.-based clients.
• Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and cleanup work as needed.
• Review client deliverables for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare and review financial reports, management reports, reconciliations, and other client-facing deliverables.
• Analyze accounting issues, identify process gaps, and propose practical solutions.
• Maintain clean accounting processes, documentation, and quality control across client accounts.
• Support onboarding for new clients by reviewing existing records and establishing workflows.
