Job summary

Altametrics is seeking a detail-oriented accountant for a permanent remote role working Pacific Standard Time during night hours. The position offers 40 hours per week with weekend off and compensation of 5–8 USD per hour, paid bi-weekly via Payoneer/Paypal, and requires owning your own equipment.

Responsibilities include AP/Vendor Management, AR/Billing, reconciliations, and ensuring internal control compliance. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years’ experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience in transactional or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups; dashboards a plus.
• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to dig deeper.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, ensure accurate GL coding, and manage timely payments.
• Maintain and update vendor records; onboard new vendors and validate documentation.
• Perform regular reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Prepare and issue billings to franchisees and tenants; monitor and manage collections.
• Work closely with operations to reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
