Job summary

Remotify Inc. is seeking an accurate Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee end-to-end vendor invoice processing, payment disbursement, and expense management for a remote team in the Philippines.

You will review, code, and process invoices via 3-way matching; prepare weekly and monthly payment runs using bank transfers, credit cards, or electronic systems; reconcile vendor statements; maintain AP ledgers; and respond to inquiries while ensuring internal controls and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable or full-charge bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with cloud accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Bill.com).
• Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and high attention to detail.
• Backup systems are required (Noise-cancelling headset, backup computer, backup internet, and backup power supply).
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills for an international business environment.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders via 3-way matching.
• Prepare weekly/monthly payment runs via bank transfers, credit cards, or electronic payment systems.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly, addressing missing invoices, discrepancies, and unallocated credits.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable ledgers and support month-end AP closing procedures.
• Respond professionally to vendor inquiries regarding payment statuses, invoice queries, and account updates.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, tax requirements, and approval hierarchies.
