Job summary

Magic, Inc is hiring an AI Product Operations Specialist to work remotely from the Philippines on a full-time basis. You will act as a highly autonomous right hand to the Head of Engineering, testing AI tools and coordinating with a 30+ person team to accelerate velocity and quality.

The role requires a technical mindset, strong written communication, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Schedule includes 40 hours per week with US Eastern Time overlap.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical mindset with AI tool fluency or programming background.
• Proven experience in product operations, QA/testing, or similar roles with engineers.
• Exceptional written communication for clear bug reports and feedback.

Responsibilities

• AI Tool Operations: stress-test AI tools and LLM-based systems, reproduce edge cases, log steps, and file tickets.
• Product Feedback: provide actionable feedback to engineering/product teams and synthesize user inputs.
• Technical Troubleshooting: triage failures, diagnose root causes, and coordinate fixes with engineers.
• Operational Support: manage to-do lists, prioritize work queues, and coordinate calendars for leadership.
• Systems & Process Optimization: design scalable processes and automate routine steps with AI tools.
