Job summary

MedVirtual is seeking an experienced AI governance professional to operationalize and continuously improve our enterprise AI governance framework. You will translate policy and regulatory requirements into practical, repeatable governance processes and coordinate work across Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, IT, and business teams.

You will manage end-to-end AI Impact Assessments, ensuring assessments address privacy, fairness, explainability, security, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years in risk management, compliance, governance, privacy, technology risk, or internal audit.
• Familiar with GDPR, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and emerging AI regulation.
• Strong understanding of risk-based governance and regulatory compliance concepts.
• Experience operating inside complex, regulated, global organizations.
• Ability to translate policy and regulatory requirements into operational process.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize and improve the enterprise AI governance framework; translate policy into repeatable governance processes.
• Coordinate AI governance across Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, IT, and business teams.
• Manage end-to-end AI Impact Assessment (AIIA) process; facilitate cross-functional reviews and maintain central repository.
• Ensure AI assessments address privacy, fairness/bias, explainability, security, and regulatory considerations.
• Maintain the AI regulatory register; monitor emerging AI regulation and update AI policies and templates.
• Support AI-specific third-party due diligence with Legal and Procurement; track vendor AI systems.
• Support Enterprise AI Council by preparing submissions and risk materials; track decisions and remediation actions.
