Job summary

MedVirtual in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned IT systems administrator to support and optimize enterprise AI platforms (Copilot, Claude, and firm-built Azure-hosted AI). You will manage access, configurations, and integrations with firm systems, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams on maintenance and updates.

The role emphasizes cost tracking, governance, and security across AI workloads, with after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in systems administration, platform support, or enterprise IT operations.
• Experience administering cloud/SaaS platforms in an enterprise environment.
• Strongly desired: experience with integrations, access management, and cost tracking for enterprise applications.
• Advanced technical expertise across document management, systems administration, database administration, and OS-level functionality.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise AI platforms (Copilot, Claude, Azure-hosted) — availability, performance, policy compliance.
• Work with APIs, connectors, and automation tools to enable secure, approved data access for AI systems while preserving ethical walls, matter confidentiality, and firm governance requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors on platform updates, feature enablement, and operational troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation covering AI platform configuration, access procedures, integrations, and operational standards.
• Support integrations between AI platforms and firm systems — document management, knowledge repositories, collaboration tools, other approved enterprise apps.
• Monitor AI platform usage, performance, and cost; assist with cost tracking, reporting, and allocation across departments/practice groups.
• Manage access controls, permissions, and usage policies for AI platforms, in coordination with Information
• Security, Risk & Conflicts, and Identity teams
• Implement role-based access control, audit logging, and data protection controls
• Configure environments, resource groups, and service integrations supporting AI workloads
• Analyze usage metrics and performance data to recommend optimizations
• Provide Tier 2/3 support, troubleshooting incidents for AI solutions
• Manage updates, patches, and version upgrades for AI platforms; coordinate with vendors and internal teams on complex issues
• Provide periodic status updates and project reports to management; occasional after-hours support required
