Job summary

Mitratech is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for AI Quality & Governance who will lead the platform that makes AI systems measurable and governable. In this role, you will combine your leadership in software engineering with hands-on development, working closely with teams to ensure quality and compliance in AI systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in software engineering including building production AI systems, and will establish standards for production-quality AI. Remote work is available, along with an anticipated pay range of $210K – $230K annually.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience leading engineers.
• Experience with operational complexity in production AI systems.
• Strong experience in AI guardrails: content filtering and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI Quality & Governance function for observability and governance.
• Design automated evaluation strategies for AI quality and safety.
• Establish standards defining production-ready AI across the organization.
