DOXA is seeking an Accounting and Accounts Payable Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting functions in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will handle accounts payable, daily sales verification, vendor communications, and month-end close preparations while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 2+ years in AP, and experience with POS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in accounting and accounts payable.
• Hospitality/restaurant accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with POS and accounting systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Audit and process vendor invoices with proper approvals and coding.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and credits.
• Verify daily sales activity against the POS system and deposits.
• Support month-end close and reconciliation efforts with restaurant management and vendors.
