DOXA, a company dedicated to connecting businesses with top-tier talent, seeks an Accounting and Accounts Payable Specialist in the Philippines for a remote role. You will manage AP, verify daily sales, communicate with vendors, and assist with month-end close across international teams.

The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, with advanced English and strong Excel skills, and experience with POS systems in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in accounting and accounts payable; hospitality or restaurant accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with POS and accounting systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, vendor statements, reconciliations, and AP controls; proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Audit vendor invoices for accuracy, documentation, coding, and approvals; process in ERP per AP procedures and deadlines; resolve duplicates or incomplete invoices.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and audits; resolve missing invoices, unapplied payments, credits, and duplicates.
• Communicate with vendors about missing invoices, payment status, discrepancies, and credits; maintain professional vendor relationships.
• Audit daily sales activity for assigned locations; verify sales against POS, review payments, discounts, and deposits; escalate discrepancies.
• Support month-end close by resolving missing invoices, vendor issues, and sales discrepancies; assist with reconciliation.
