This role keeps vendor relationships strong, books balanced, and month-end processes smooth. The role involves handling vendor invoices, payment runs, reconciliations, vendor records, and year-end tax compliance, with a Work From Home arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience specifically in Accounts Payable.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial close processes.
• Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely with correct coding and approvals.
• Manage weekly payment runs via check, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and payment terms.
• Assist with month-end AP close tasks, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support 1099 preparation and annual tax compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams for PO matching and receiving processes.
• Maintain General Ledger accuracy related to AP accounts.
• Support year-end audits with organized documentation.
