The Montage Accessories Co. Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to own the day-to-day AP process from end to end. If you value accuracy, strong controls, and timely payments, you will help maintain solid vendor relationships and keep the books balanced.

In this role you will manage invoice processing, payments via check/ACH/wire, vendor statements, month-end close, 1099 prep, and GL accuracy, collaborating with internal teams and supporting audits. Work From Home arrangement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience in product-based or wholesale company.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial close processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Great communicator who can collaborate cross-functionally and keep vendors happy.
• Experience with large vendors, EDI systems, and Shopify orders is a bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring correct coding and approvals.
• Manage weekly payment runs via check, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor records, W-9s, and payment terms.
• Handle month-end AP close tasks: accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Assist with 1099 prep and annual tax compliance.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth PO matching and receiving processes.
• Maintain General Ledger accuracy related to AP accounts.
• Support year-end audits with clean, organized documentation.
• Stay current on accounting policies, GAAP updates, and tax regs that affect AP.

This role is central to keeping our vendor relationships strong, our books balanced, and our month-end process smooth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring correct coding and approvals

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience specifically in Accounts Payable, ideally within a product-based or wholesale company
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial close processes
• Skilled in Excel; experience with Navision, Ramp, Databricks, or Sigma is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Great communicator who can collaborate cross-functionally and keep vendors happy
• Experience working with large vendors, EDI systems, and Shopify orders is a bonus
