DOXA Talent, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper in The Philippines—Remote. The role supports day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and close activities, working with the Controller and accounting team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3+ years of bookkeeping, strong ledger knowledge and advanced Excel skills. Multi-entity experience and audit support are highly valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience with reconciliations and journal entries.
• Multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
• Experience supporting audits preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation; perform bank and credit card reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accounts; assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules and reports; maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules; monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies; assist with financial reporting preparation; support budgeting and ad hoc reporting requests.
• Prepare documentation for audits and compliance reviews; support annual financial statement audits and 401(k) audit requests; help identify process improvements and automate where possible.
